Hank

Hank is a Quarter Horse cross who was born in 1995 .This handsome, polite gentleman worked for a few years as a lesson horse in the Napa area. As Hank got older, his recurrent lameness meant he could no longer fulfill that role. Commendably, his owner searched for a way to give Hank the loving, quality retirement he rightfully deserves. Shortly after joining the Sunrise herd, Hank became a stalwart companion to Thunder, a blind Appaloosa who really needed a horse friend. Thunder has passed on, but Hank continues to relish human attention. His patient nature makes him a wonderful teacher for our volunteers who are beginning to learn horsemanship skills.
