Tink

Tink was a quarter horse who lived in Lake County for 13 years prior to coming to Sunrise. He came to us in August 2020 with his herdmate, Sonny. We evacuated and sheltered Tink and Sonny from the Lightning Complex Fire of 2020. Their owner was no longer able to care for them so they entered the sanctuary at Sunrise. Tink had a dislocated shoulder from a prior injury. We had a surgeon evaluate his shoulder and administered intensive treatments and anti-anxiety medications. Despite every effort that was made for Tink with his severe pain and anxiety, he passed surrounded by his loved ones. He is greatly missed.
