Raven

Raven was abandoned by her owner with a neighbor in Napa. She lived with the neighbor for 2 years, alone in a small pen most of the time. The neighbor realized that the owner was not returning and it was not sustainable to keep her. Raven is likely an 18 year old Andalusian/Friesian cross, and her Veterinary exam tells us a little about her story. She has likely born a foal in the past, she has had a broken pelvis and her gait is very uneven. She likely has flipped over backwards at some point, as she has some bony enlargement at her poll and withers. That is what we know about her. We also know she is kind and eager to meet people, and we're busy getting to know her.
